This is a designer that worked with semiprecious stones, cultivated pearls and gold plate. Brooches were the most popular designs of Swoboda, with motiffs ranging from flowers to insects, animals and crowns. In the designs Victorian and Oriental influences can be recognized. Only after 1966 jewels by Swoboda are signed. Swoboda jewels are very rare, especially the elaborate pieces. Brooches are less rare.
