Necklace with wide, flat links, having attached a series of coins embellished with the image of queen Maria Theresia. The text surrounding the image: M. THERESIA D. G. and R. IMP HU BO REG. On the reverse there is a coat of arms with a two headed eagle wearing a crown and having its wings spread out. The text surrounding this image: ARCHID AUST DUX and BURG CO TYR 1780. The centrepiece is a big coin with this images and texts, enhanced with 5 more of the identical small coins. The styling is in Egyptian revival tradition. The material of this necklace is the so called Russian Gold, that Miriam Haskell is famous for. The clasp is a push clasp with another coin on top and the Miriam Haskell signature on the bottom.
