Jay Lane
started his carrier as a shoe
designer. He started his own
company as a jewelry designer
in 1963 in New
York
and since then has found his
clients among first ladies,
royalty and movie starts. In
the 1980s he designs jewelry
for Avon,
amongst which are the Couture
Collection and the Midnight
Rose Collection. His designs
stand out because of their
originality, bravura and
unusual combinations of color
and materials. He finds his
inspiration in mythology,
astrology and nature. He is
still in business. |
